1932 Ford Model B Fordor with Miller Hi-Speed Equipment
The Model B engine was a redesigned and significantly improved Model A engine. The power was increased from 40 to 50 horsepower and the engine featured a balanced crankshaft and a mechanical fuel pump instead of the old, gravity system used on the Model As. The intake and exhaust ports were improved, and the engine had a redesigned camshaft and cylinder head. The new Model B engine proved to be robust and was considered by many to be more reliable than the troublesome new V-8. – St. Louis Car Museum
This 1932 Ford Model B Fordor with Miller Hi-Speed Head Overhead Valve Conversion is featured in a black exterior with a red pinstripe and is riding on red 16” wire wheels. This Model B shows well overall with older paint and just the right amount of patina.
The interior is in very good condition with light brown mohair seating. The carpet and headliner show no sign of excessive wear. The dash and moldings are beautifully wood-grained throughout.
The factory appearance of this Model B ends at the engine bay. The factory counter balanced 4-cylinder motor has been upgraded with a Miller Hi-Speed Head Overhead Valve Conversion and an FSI ignition with built in 32-degree advance which is specifically built for the forementioned conversion. During the conversion, a new oil pump and an electric fuel pump were added. This upgraded engine package makes a large improvement on acceleration time and drivability.
Enjoy the nostalgic elegance of a 1932 Ford Model B with added horsepower to safely cruise along the backroads.
